Received autocall with message similar to, " (no sound, then..) called, if you would like to accept please press 1, otherwise press 2 to leave a message". Had no idea who it was and had recieved a few calls over the past month with this seemingly broke outgoing message. Decided to track it down and found this site, and the references to 1and1, who I do have domain hosting through. I called billing and they said everything was okay, that only sales would do outgoing messages and they would use 877-461-2631. They then patched me though interally to sales, and after a 10 min wait, Matthew answered. I complained about the wierd broken non-self-referencing message, he took my name and cust id #, and put me on hold to take me off the list. During the wait, the call was lost just as they picked up again.

1and1 calling with superfluous information REPEATEDLY. Business model = ANNOY CURRENT CUSTOMERS until they cancel.

Some lady called my home phone from this number. My wife answered. The lady said she was with 1and1 and asked if I had finished developing one of the web sites that I'm hosting through them. When my wife acted untrustingly towards this stranger, the stranger gave up and said goodbye.When my wife told me about it, I was like, "Why do they think that's any of their business? I'm paying them for hosting, not to babysit me on my development progress. As long as I'm paying them according to our agreement, why do they care how far along I am on development?"

Cancel your 1and1.com services. This company is annoying and has terrible customer service. They will not stop calling even after repeated requests. I even heard someone in the background urging the caller, "you'll get him next time."

I am a 1and1 customer, and while I'm relatively happy with their service, this is the second time they've called me AFTER I've asked to be removed from their call list. I may move my domains to another service if this keeps up.

This number has been calling me daily for the better part of a month. They only call during the day when I'm at work and can't answer the phone and they have never left a message. It's seriously getting annoying. If there's something wrong with my account, leave a message. Otherwise, give up already!I have a mind to transfer my domains to a different registrar because of this harassing disrespect for paying customers.

I received a call as well and recognized it to be 1and1 with whom I do use as my hosting company for my business website. Like many of you I had been receiving robo calls for the better part of the month and immediately called the CSR for sales. I explained to the representative that I already used the service and did not require any calls. He stated that 1and1 was using a new marketing firm. He stated that they had been receiving complaints from their customers and was aware of the problem. He placed my name/company on the 1and1 do not call list. He asked what number was displayed on the caller ID.He thanked me for being nice/pleasant and that was that. I will wait to see if it actually works but have no reason to believe that it won't. I do not represent the company either.

I am getting repeated calls from 1-877-461-2631 on my cell phone. When I answer, nobody is there. I host a couple of sites with 1and1, but this is annoying to say the least.

These are pushy people who criticize the state of your website and want to sell you something.No, thanks, I can write my own HTML, go away.
