I received a call from them today. They said i am in collections for a Bell Canada debt. I am very particular with my bills and have never been in debt with anyone.. Also, I have not had a bell canada account in my name since before the year 2000. They used my maiden name, which i haven't used in many years, and they tried to get my SIN number. He started talking and when i tried to tell him that i havent had a bell canada account, he says "just shut up and let me finish" so at this point im irritated, so i interrupted him and he says "pay your f*cking bills you [***]" and hung up on me!! I called back for a manager and no one would take the call. I left a voicemail for the manager to call me and no one called me back... so I called a third time and when the girl asked for my SIN to "verify".. i told her i didnt give out my SIN number and she also hung up on me!! I blocked them from calling me again, and i filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Its unreal how unprofessional these people are! Obviously management isnt doing their job!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE!!! Be careful with this company, im pretty sure its a scam to get your personal info.
On Oct 23, I received a call from Persaud at 1-866-580-5355 looking for a member of my family who was not at home. He stated he was from Action Collection & Receivables Mgmt. I stated the person he was looking for was not home and he could not call at work. He was abrupt and told him to relay a message to call back later that night. Well, we did and got a busy signal each of the 3 calls. We checked online and found another number, this time reaching a live person, who wanted the SIN# for verification (which is not permitted). We refused. The following week, we received another call during the day from the same person. Since then we have found out that this company has had several complaints on this company and BBB has had 175 complaints against them. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE, we strongly suspect they are a scam........
You owe money, and youre not that dilligent. Get over yourself, realize youre NOT as on top of things as you think, then apologize, fix the problem, and move on. The real cancer in the world is liars like you.
And just so you know, and maybe pass this around to your loser friends too... The BBB means nothing and no one cares. Stop wasting your time! Its hilarious how people say i wil report to the BBB like that matters hahahahah. It didnt matter then, it diesnt matter now, hahahaha
No one cares about the BBB, please stop mentioning it like it matters. They are not a governing body and have no authority. You might as well report this to your high school hall monitor.
Push*60 listen to the operator then push #the number you want to block and when that's done push# again it's blocked so if I were going to block this number ............ this is what I'd do,push*60 on my phone,listen to the operator,after she's done explaining, I push #1-877-503-9633then # number is now blocked yayyyy

I just got a call from this number. No one on the other end. It would not hang up so i left the phone on for about 10 minutes and then hung up on them. If its a collection agency, the only debt i could concievably be responsible for is when i broke up with my ISP Shaw. Shaw would not address the poor connectivity that I was experiancing. They blamed my computer. Eventually they jerked me around enough that I gave them the 30 days notice and stopped using them. I had a Modem they had sold me, the deal was that i pay for it up front, and when i choose to discontinue service they would buy it back for what I payed for it. They apparently decided not to do this. I apparently decided they were useless scum with a bad service, and since they dont honor deals, I wont either. I changed my ISP to another local provider. With the same problem computer I have, I got a wonderful increase in performance. Shaw could not give me 1/4 of the speed my new provider gives me for 2/3rds the price of Shaw.Shaw, you are c***suckers. You chose to blow off a loyal customer of 14 years, by insulting and cheating him. I owe you some money? Suck a duck! I am much happier now since you did this, I shall never return to be a Shaw customer, again. And I WILL tell everyone I can, just how much better off they would be somewhere else. As for the approx 100 bucks you say I owe, deduct 65$ month for your beligerant disconnection service and deduct the 50$ you owe me for my modem (that you promiosed to buy back) and guess what? We are even... so blow a goat !!!!
