Must be scam. Message said I had a Ford Fusion and gave the vin number, but never owned a Ford Fusion
Call on behalf of Ford regarding vehicle recall. Is completely legit in my case.
Text message from this number saying it's Ford motor company has issued an urgent Safety Recall affecting my Ford Ranger [I don't have a Ford Ranger]. I will get a FREE REPAIR before my airbags explode. I should call 888 459 1129. I didn't bother. Suspicious
Same as above. First they sent a text message, then called a few days later and left a voicemail
Like the others, this was Ford with a robocall about a recall. There is a legitimate recall and the airbag company went out of business and Ford is being held responsible - parts are now available and they are probably trying to urge people to get repaired to avoid further lawsuits or injuries. I didn't call but I am going to call my local Ford dealer and schedule the airbag replacement since it's a legit safety recall.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
