These scam artists really know how to get people's attention. They have called my job a few times as well. Glad for this post. You guys really helped me out! My lawyer has pretty much deemed this as a scam because they won't give me an address to send the payment.
Got a call from a guy only identifying himself as "Jason from CinemCon Expo" asking me to please phone him immediately at his direct number. Obvious scam!!!
The person on the other line wanted us to book our next trade show hotelaccommodations with them. I told them as I have countless others, ewill not use rooms outside of show approved housing. They think thatall they have to do is say they will give us cheaper rooms. You getwhat you pay for. The only time we ever used them they screwed up andwe refuse to use these scammy room sellers. It is our unwrittenpolicy. No scammers, no problems.

Called from a 313 area code. Left the 877 area code number in a VM. Said it was urgent so obviously after looking up the number I had to call back and berate a Mr. Terry Blake and threaten to report him. I suspect he'll call back a year from now with a different number..

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
