# is from lattice services... They are the company that handles jail out-calls. My brother just tried calling twice, bondsman called 5 min after using other #. (Washington State)

I have a solution for everyone here:I just got a call from them too. I called the following number: 605-394-2639. That is the juvenile detention center in South Dakota that the calls are originating from. Do NOT answer the calls. They are INMATES. Just call the above number immediately, ask for a supervisor, and report the call to them. What they can do is take your number and look on the center's call logs to see which inmate called the number. Then they can ban the inmate from calling it again, as well as put it down as not authorized to be called by anyone.Also make sure they know if you've received multiple calls and the dates/times called.Their calls are regulated by a separate company, so they are limited on what they can do, but they can put a stop to them calling your number if you call them and report it.

I've been getting calls from this number since the end of March. There's always just someone breathing on the end of the line... Then they hang up.

Left message on cell phone. Called number back and it was a call center for a prison in Texas, we live in Indiana.

It is a nationwide company that handles calls from jails around the nation. It is not necessarily a SD or TX call. I received one from a friend in Wyoming.

Keep getting calls from this number 1-888-843-1972. I found out a few weeks ago my number was slamed by ILD an inmate calling service I guess but they claim to be only the collection agency. I reported it to the FCC this company has done this many times.
