I got a call from Ruby as well. I called back and a man named "Stefan" answered the phone. He said he needed to connect me via 3 way call with my current mortgage company to answer questions about my refinance. The first thing they asked me was my social security number. I laughed at them and hung up.

"unknown name" on the caller ID, and missing an 8 in the supposed area code.I listened again to the message and indeed he says Equifax as well with a thick Indian accent. Must be Rubys' scumbag husband.The worrisome part is he started out with my name.

Glad i hung up while they had me on hold and googled the #Thanks everyone!

Got the call today, didn't sound legitimate, this was a male, also with an Indian accent. The phone number that showed up on my phone history was for a radio show hotline. Be careful everyone.

I just received a call from this "company" asking about my mortgage. I told them I would contact my loan processor directly. What a load of crap.

Same here. Female, Indian accent. Stated my mortgage loan company needed additional info on my bank account. I told her I would check with them myself. She knew the name of my bank and mortgage loan company.

Called today a woman with an Indian accent talking about she's calling from my credit union mortgage department to discuss some findings on my credit report because I had recently applied for a mortgage refi with my credit union. Asked me to call her back, she left a voicemail. Be careful. I never called back never will!!! Scumbags
