Junk debt collector. They call every day.

One person works for several Scam Collection Agencies and would program his system to call you. That's why when you answer there is not a live person. The file number they mentioned is an employee number to assign commission if money is collected. Each day they check to see who responded, then you become a target. Don"t answer strange calls. If you answer by mistake, hand up. Forget about being polite. These people are worst that animals and don't give a dam about harassing you. Invest in a call blocker for home phone or a call blocker app for your cell phone which is free to download at Google Play. Be alert and don't be afraid. Harassing you is their only tool they can use. They have no legal authority. It's an international scam.
