Thought it was a scam. I've been called twice by them but I don't even have a credit card so I knew it was fake. XD
This is a scam. The recorded message says there's a problem with your credit card. I stayed on the line to speak to representative. I asked the name of the company that was call me. Rep said (in a Jamaican accent), "Cardmember Services." I asked, "Card member services for what company?" Rep said, "The logo will be VISA of MasterCard." I said, "But, you're not VISA are you?" Rep hung up on me.
Didnt answer to give them any satisfaction. But, what I did do is save the number on my cell phone. I have previously recorded a special ringer with dead silence only. Then I saved this bad number to ring that ringtone, it is dead silence. No more chasing a call from this number. By the way there are 40 numbers saved to my dead silence ringer. All of them are unknown callers. Cant give my number up or otherwise would have changed it by now. This is the only way to keep my sanity. Yes, I am on the do not call list. And to think there are many government employees that get paid lots of money and benefits for managing this service and it absolutely does nothing because telemarketers like these are able to sneek around the system by changing their numbers frequently and other cowardly ways. Nothing anyone can do. Go to your voice recorder and record silence, save it and it will be saved to your ringtones. Enter all numbers you don't want to answer. Awww so peaceful. I enter all bad numbers under the letter Z so not to miss up my contact list. Pass this idea on!

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
