Recorded message identifying itself as the 'IRS' and that a lawsuit has been filed against me. BS. Recorded message demanded a return call with banking information ready. Balderdash.
Got a call from this number. A recording saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to call back to some 206 number. That number has numerous complaints against it as a scam about the same thing. Tips on this showing it is NOT the IRS? 1) A recording? get real. They would call you live, not with some recording. 2) they normally send letters, not recorded phone calls. 3) they call themselves the Internal revenue Service, not the IRS, 4) They don't call from 932 area codes. Just a scam. I don't know what they are looking for. Maybe ask for your SS# when you call them, to verify the suit. Nasty that they would try to scare people like this though.
