They call constantly, and have even started bothering family members, some who live in different states. They do not acknowledge their responsibilities under the FTC rules, and, if you are of a mind to do so, report them. When they call, immediately tell them that you are recording the call, and insist that they provide the time, date, their employee ID number, the reason for the call, who they are trying to reach, the specifics of the account that they believe is in default. Do NOT provide them any information, just insist that they give that information to you. Call blocking is also effective.More devilish, but an awful lot of fun if you have auto redial is to call them hundreds of times per day. Don't talk to them, just call them. Even more fun, if you have call waiting, is to call them twice from different lines. On the second line, when it prompts you to "press 1 for English", do so. That will synchronize the calls. After just about 1 minute, there will be another prompt asking if you live in New York City or one of its boroughs. Again, press "1". This speeds up the answering process. You now will have two confused people on the line, each asking each other for the other's credit card number. Occasionally they have fun with the process: "Hey, girlfriend! I guess we got our lines crossed." Sometimes they get annoyed with each other, and they always blame their IT department. If enough people keep their lines busy during the day, they might someday get the idea. They are a regulated industry, and continue to break the law on a continuous basis. If a lawyer reads this and decides for a nice class action lawsuit, I would be there would be lots of participants.

They call my cell phone all the time, but I just put them in my address book as "A$$H0LE' and never answer it.

UNWANTED-UNKNOWN- STOP!!!

I know this is GE Money and yes we did own them money, but the account is in my wife's name, she is disabled and she had the insurance. First they said the insurance would not pay the balance she owns for six months. I guess another way to get the balance down first. There is nothing in the contract that she signed that said that. Now that the paper work from her doctor has been sent we still continue to get six phone calls a day.

They called us to, 25+ times per day so I just blocked all of there phone numbers and now haven't had a single annoying call in days. Except for from my ex lol, but I blocked them too.. Order CALL INTERCEPT & You can add them to your BLOCK LIST very easily! I did & it has relieved great stress!

It's Bargain Outlet or Lowes. They call at 5 times a day. Yeah I owe them, but having financial difficulties, behind on everything. I just don't answer the phone now. Can't give them what I don't have-MONEY.

I think the only rude thing is the tire store that G.E. Money finances. Makes me mad when you only have money for two tires, and the Tire Rep can't take "Only Two " for an answer...........1. How's your credit? (shot)2. Do you have friends/relatives that can lend you money? (Unemployed/hours cut and are strugling)3. Are you sure you can only buy two? (Sure and check, and a over draft fee, but that's ok, you'll get your money , and I'll be in a hole).I understand Commission but goodness, stop being pushie!!!!!!! Better to take commission for two, and the other two the following month, than me taking my business some where else, which is exactally what I'll do, when I go back this month.
