Received a call from this number, said I owe money to some floor covering store in NJ and they will begin collection proceedings unless I give them my credit card number. This is clearly a scam, because I don't own a home to put floor coverings in, and I live in Nashville, TN and have for my entire life. If I DID want to put in floor coverings (which I cannot do in my apartment anyway) I would find someone local. THIS IS A SCAM!
Got a call from 973-650-5134. Caller id said wireless caller. Did not take the call as I do not know anyone in that area code. Look up of number says J&J Floor Covering, Sussex, NJ.
I got a "missed call" message on my cell phone and whoever called from this number didn't leave a voice mail. I researched this number and it came up "J & J Floor Covering" in New Jersey. I checked their profile on HomeAdvisor and with all of the good ratings they're getting, I think somebody is spoofing their number to try and rip off people. I live in Iowa and they're not going to put floor coverings in my home and then try to collect for it.
