Responded to an ad on Craig's list and almost sent the money to this guy... or rather guy's. Got text messages from two yahoo id's the 1st one was from a 1-111-440-602 number and the rest were all from this 111-044-0601 number. His information did not match up and half way through our conversation he started using a lot of texting lingo... As in "lol" and such. It was a completely different person talking at some point I could tell. I talked to a few fraud hotlines and the searched the #'s and came to here. I also found some fraud blogs that listed all sorts of documented copies of fraud e-mails and addresses and the cell numbers associated with those addresses. This guy's cell number came up under plenty of other names and addresses.ALSO! A WARNING TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE OPENLY POSTED YOUR E-MAILS! There are computer programs from scammers and hackers that go through sites just like this, Myspace and facebook and collect phone number and addresses. When typing your e-mail openly online always type it like this: JOE _ SCHMOE at Gobbledygook DOT com DO NOT WRITE LIKE THIS: Joe_Schmoe@Gobbledygook.com Because the programs are design to target and find that form of address.

Hi,I have a question. My father in law passed away 2 yrs.ago. My mom in law was on pof site and a guy cl-ming 2 b military man who was based in hawii then was all of a sudden called 2 go 2 nigeria(which I checked out and we have NO bases there)and originally from alabama told her after a week was in love w/ her and asked her 2 get married! What I can't believe is she said yes! Well its not 1st time either cuz she was "engaged"2 another guy who had 2 fly 2 africa 4 business and airlines lost his bag,wallet,phone and laptop and he got her for 6k! So now this guys popped up and his 1st wife died 6 yrs ago and has 11yr old girl in alabama. Me and my hubby told her about scams coming out of africa/nigeria etc. Since the first idiot!I heard a lot of times the same person uses many I'd's,so #1 doesn't it sound like this guy is possible one in the same,#2 do u or anyone else had this similiar story told 2 them? Plus,she opened a bank account 4 him and (can't believe this stii)he asked 4 all her personal info(ss#,b-dayetc...) And she GAVE it 2 him cuz he "bought"her a house here in tx. In HER name only(what guy would do that especially if they've never met!)And.needed her info!! His profile is 66yrs old,from alAbama,wife died AFTER she cheated on hom many x's,sergeant in army and just got in from nigeria and had 2 go 2 alabama b4 he came here 2 sell his "house"and 3 cars! Currently talking to Davis Pendleton. It's just the same as what everyone else is saying except texts come from 92602. I met him on POF - another dating website. He immediately was "in love" with me and telling me how we were going to have such a good life together, etc. We were talking on Yahoo Messenger. I asked him if he had a webcam because I like to see who I'm talking to. He said he didn't. I work with a lot of foreign people and I noticed a lot of the same grammar and dialect from Davis as I see with my coworkers. It just didn't add up. He's a staff sergeant stationed in Afghanistan and he's waiting for his retirement papers. Everything is identical to what others have said. He said that he's never had a care package, and of course I offered to send him one. I mean, even if it didn't work out with us I would be helping out a service man, right? So he said he'd send me a list of what he wanted in his package. Yesterday he sent me a link to a home theatre system that he wanted in his care package. I politely told him that it was way too much for me to buy for him and that he shouldn't need something like that anyway, considering he's about to retire and come back to Georgia. I had a strong gut feeling that this guy wasn't what he said he was. Glad that I googled him and found all of these comments. Now I can text him back and tell him the jig is up!! Thanks!!

Logan Hawks is a real Scam artist not one made up from a friend or anyone else but himself. The real Logan Hawks has nothing to do with Logan Hawks Stone and does not have 3 daughters. They all help each other with the scam they run. They will always ask you for the same thing and it will be a phone and a laptop. Mind you this will not just be a little order, He asks for ony the best. He will tell you how in love he is with you. His so called daughters will contact you only through his computer and you will never see him with them except one picture that the Feds already showed me. When I saw it again my heart sank. I did fall for him and have to admitt to myself I am a stupid fool for believeing in him. Now I know better but know I am going to get better each and everyday. Sandy is not a friend of mine but I hope she speaks to me soon so we can compare notes. I am honestly sick to death over this. One more thing be weary of, if he does not get his way you will be called horrible names, he will loose hs temper with you all-together and fight with you till you almost do what he asks completley. I know..... I was so close to giving him anything he wanted and thought we would actually be together. WATCH YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!
