I received a call from this number. I suspected it to be a telemarketer. I answered to request they take ma off their list. Stanley was on the other end. It was very loud on his end. He stated he had $7,000.00 in a US Government grant for me. He then started to ask for my credit crd information. I told him I would not give it to him. When I insisted on him telling me the name of his company, he got upset, told me he was calling from Washington DC for the government. He stated I was wasting his time. When I requested he remove my name from his list, he said he would call me every 5 minutes. I told him I was recording the call and he hung up.

Yes, as February 26, 2011 today at 2:30pm....this [removed:lang] decides to call me about government grants as well...and asked for Angry Williams, and i said you guys always call me asking for this person take my name off your list. And i also responded who would name their child Angry Williams??? he responded so your lying and u know that person, and i said no, never heard of the person, and he told me if i am lying i will go to prison because he works for the IRS or some crap!!! i told him do not threaten me, im telling the truth now [removed:lang]....and he hung up

I got a call from 11234567898 three times today, i didnt answer the first time the second time i answered and they asked for me, i asked who was i talking to and he hung up.. the third time they told me they were calling from the US treasury dept in Washington DC and i won 7000 dollars from the government and i told him no thank you which he was shocked and just hung up. This is a total scam, foreign people trying to get peoples social and bank info to screw them over. Dont fall for this scam people, how could the government give 7000 dollars wtih the way the economy is!

They just called me too, my machine came on and the lady just said hello about 4 times and hung up? The number did look wierd....

I have received a call from this number for the past 2 days. They called yesterday and I didn't answer. Today they called and I picked up. This foreign guy asked for me and I asked who I was speaking with. He then told me that he was calling from Washington D.C and when I said "what can I help you with?" He hung up on me. I'm glad I ran across this website so I can give them a piece of my mind the next time they call!

I have also been reciving calls from this number, its a lady that just asks for me and then hangs up.

Just got a call from this number. Number looked phony, let it go to voicemail. They left no message. This is the fourth junk call I have received this week - all from different numbers.

I received call 7:40 pm. Person sayd that calling from US Government and i am selected one of 15000 people to receive 7000 in a US Government grand. Then his tried to get information about my credit card. That looked to me as a fish and declined that money. His start to be nervous and sayd that this conversation is recording and will be announced on radio. That was most awful thing i ever heard :) His gaved to me call back number 202-621-0046 and confirmation number VA321. Thats number is NOVES company cell phone witch is not in service.

In my birthday I recieved a call from this number (123-456-7898) the guy in the oder line identified himsel as Charles Nayton with the employee I.D. 20669529010. He said that he represent the US Government Grant Department, he even gave the web page www.usgovernemtgrant.com. He told me that the U.S. Government is going to give $7000.00 no taxeable and no payable. At the first time I beleived him because I recieved grant from the Government as a student, so I gave him my debit card information. After that, he gave me a reference number JE167 and instructed me to call Mr.Alex Rubio at (202)684-6695 which I did. Mr Rubio (emplotyee number 2587AW)told me that I had to go to Western Union and send money to either India or Sri Lanka. Under that knowledge about the government grant I sent money to India to a guy named Vigal Yadav. During that process I recieved a call Miss Nancy Smith (employee number NS786), she represents the U.S. Federal Bank of New York (315)657-4550. She told me to send the money to Mr. Vigal Yadav. Once I did it, Mr. Rubio contacted me again and told me to send a security deposit of $325.00 to trhe same guy in India He also told me that I was going to recieve this money back. I asked him why? And he did not give me a clear answer, so I started to do some research. What did I find? that those motherf....ers are scams. I tried to make them tell me more information about them and I called the F.B.I. Also I noticed that those guys have and Indian accent and they get confused when you use fast English or ask them hard questions. The F.B.I. told me to call the Federal Treasure Commerce at 1877-382-4357 which I did. It is my hope that this son of a [***] get caught and hang out by their testicles. I will be more than happy to testifie against them if I need to. I apologize about my bad language but I feel so fool.

I have been receiving calls from this number for over 2 weeks now. It calls me everyday (with 1 or 2 exceptions in the last 2 1/2wks) sometimes twice a day. I just now noticed today that it was actually in order...123456789... Of course on my phone it's 1-234-567-898. There's not even a last digit. But all I noticed was that it was a weird area code-- Not in dallas where I live. Of course I don't answer numbers that I don't know. I have never answered and they have never left a message. The fact that there's no message left makes me think it can't be a bill collecter. From what I've read I guess it's somebody calling via the internet. I guess you can choose whatever number you want.... But WHY do they continue to call???.....*sigh..
