unknown caller claiming to represent ISPs BT etc the caller claimed I had a virus causing problems on the internet, I said that's interesting as I had McAfee antivirus which I trusted and when I said I worked in IT and would look into it, they hung up.I dialled their number and got the message "this number does not exist" WARNING I believe this to be some sort of a SCAM that will no doubt involve them directing you to log into some web site and leave some details or make a payment.
i had the same today, they phoned on my mobile and wanted me to turn my computer off. i told them i was at work and they would have to phone back.i got home and phoned my provider and they have checked my line and said it was fine.they phoned back and i ignored.i defo think its a scam.beware all
