It depends on where you live. If you live in North America there are no area codes from 000 to 199. So the call is a fake.As caller Id is easily spoofed (faked) your caller could be anyone anywhere in the world. If you do not know anyone in that area code do not take, or return the call. If you Must take the call, and someone answers, do not give out any personal or financial information. You cannot guarantee the caller is who they say they are.

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.

Got a letter that said I applied for an AMAZON card. Called the number to inquire what this was for, they started asking for personal information. When I said no they hung up on me.

Scam debit collector. I say 'scam' because I don't have a credit card, loan, lease, tuition, or debit or any kind. I own my home, vehicle, and everything in them. There's not a single reason for a debit collector to be calling me.
