Idiot asked about car we no longer own and when we said so, he immediately hung up but it is one of those irritating car warranty scams where you pay money for repairs in the future but it never pays. Jerks like these who are using numbers hacked from legit businesses should be prosecuted. The DNC list is as big a joke as the government.

I have told them numerous times that the car they are calling about I no longer own. I don't need any warranty. They have stated all these times (at least 8 - 9 times) they will remove my name and number.

Got the call. Claimed to be from the "Warranty Department" of Hyundai. Well,I know for a fact that can't be true, because Rick Case, of Rick Case Honda, Hyundai and all the other cars they sell, personally, I mean, PERSONALLY saw to it that my name and phone number was deleted from ALL Hyundai marketing data bases. They only communications I receive from Hyundai now are limited to service matters and service matters only. Thanks Rick! :-)

Wonder if this is the guy who called asking for my husband. Allegedly from Direct Auto - said they'd mailed info re extension of warranty - told him we had extended warranty and to stop calling here - nasty man!

Received phone call from this # today - when I challenged her by saying I'm on the do not call registry she hung up on me. I called the number back but it did not work...very aggravating.

Be aware that there are scammers calling phone numbers then hanging up. When you call back they are intercepting personal data from your smartphone and endangering your security. I've heard news reports on this and the suggestions offered were do not call back if no message is left for you. Also, when in doubt, research before contacting when info is left on a voicemail. Landline is better to use.

Received a call on my cell from this # today at 12:02pm CST. I didn't answer. Tried to call back and # doesn't work. Found this message thread. I have an iPhone 5S and you can block callers. I always use that function when I get calls like this that appear to be a scam based on everyone's messages here.

This is a scam. For those stupid enough to answer and pay money, please send your money to me, and buy my scam....... I have real estate on the moon worth lots of money.

Called and asked for me by name - She said that my 2008 Honda's warranty had expired and I needed to pay to renew it and I should pay 71.16 for this month and also provide a credit card number for future billings.
