If you don't recognize a number, ignore it and delete it. I never answer if the caller isn't identified. If somebody NEEDS to get in touch with you, they'll find a way.
I don't know anyone from this number. They do not have my permission to call this number. STOP!!!
You may not be able to stop them, but you can frustrate them and you can file coplaints.This is one of the numbers that has left us a 'hang up' recently. I don't answer my phone - I don't jump when some slime ball tells me to and I'm not about to ask 'how high?' I let the answering machine handle it and, along with caller ID, I decide if it's worth my trouble or not. I've turned off the ringer and turned down the volumn of the answering machine message so that I don't hear anything when I get an incoming call unless the caller leaves a message. A couple of times a week, I go through our CID log and file complaints. I started doing this a couple of years ago and it (nto answering the phone unless I feel like it) has greatly reduced the numbers of junk calls that we get - an answering machine is not going to give out a credit card number so any future calls to a number where you don't automatically get a live person is a waste of time. Don't feed the monsters and eventually they go looking elsewhere for food.
this number was not registered for 30 days so I can't even file a complaint in the dont call list.
Received call from this number - no one answers - leaves no voicemail. These annoying calls are very annoying. MAKE THEM STOP.
I received this call from 202-316-4793 ....missed the call but leary of calling back. No msg was left. Looked it up online just now and found that others have had the same number phone them. What can and should be done about this?Thank You
