I am a victim of identity theft what did you do I am getting calls from THIS number everyday
BigA, I've never heard of these types of scams, and I don't know why I entered it but I did and now I want to know how to fix it. It's a Google voice verification number it says when you call it back. Now, I don't have an actual computer to create a voice account to unlink their number to mine and reverse what they did. Is there any way I can get Google to do this for me since its their creation? Wh poo can I talk to to get them to change this bs app to actually protect us not so tech smart folks from stuff like this?
Another possibility: Someone with a similar number is trying to set up Google Voice, but made a typo. Have not experienced this with Google Voice, but with a common name and an early entree to GMail, I get a fair amount of email innocently meant for another Campbell.
I set up Google voice and this is the Caller ID that sent the code verification for google voice. It's safe
