Received a couple of hangups today from 202 666 1173. I don't know anybody in that area code.

Received a Prank Call from this number

i got a call saying that the us goverment was giving me a grant of 1500 dollars

Called and told me he was from Treasury Dept. Wanted information and I had some fun with him. Being of foreign extraction he has a good command of our profanity. Clearly not the brightest bulb in the pack.Best thing you can do is keep them on the line as long as possible. Lost time is lost profit for these morons.

1-202-666-1173 They called and said I had been randomly selected by the government to receive a grant of $8000 dollars and that I didn't have to pay it back just to promise not to spend it on anything like gambling and asked how would I spend it. When they asked for a checking account number or debit number and I said I thought it was a scam and wanted a phone number, he said he would give me his managers phone number , then I asked for a website address and he gave both a web address and a physical address and then hung up. Both addresses were closely mimicked the potential real addresses, but were not valid. He gave the website www.usa.government/citizen.com and 500 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20220 The correct addresses are www.usa.gov/citizen.com and 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, NY Washington, DC 20220 I am sure they prey on the elderly and vulnerable.

Can't we do some kind of reverse search to actually locate where this call is coming from so we can go there and FLOG the people calling?There annoying little f&*Ks and they call ALL THE TIME, when we answer they don't say anything, once or twice we could hear what sounded like someone breathing but thats it.I'd like to find ou where/who they are and slap the snot out of them!

I've been receiving calls from this number every day for the last week. No one ever speaks, it's always a momentary pause and then they hang up. Annoying!

I have received numerous calls from this number, only once did they speak up. When they did they asked for my husband by name, when I said he was unavailable they hung up. I am reporting this to the do not call list.
