It sucks. Scam calls are getting wilder than ever — they’re even spoofing IRCC’s number now. So when you pick up and hear that little ‘beep…’ at the start, it’s usually a scam. Just hang up without hesitation

Got a call form this number ... sounded like an indian guy... he said he was from from CIC the Canadian Immigration Services of Canada and threatned to send me back to my home country.... He told me that I had not filled out the I-49 form when I immagrated (which I never imagrated) so, I searched it online and found it was only for USA... I didnt even live in USA. He said his name was " Roy parker" and told me my case number and that I had to pay a large fee (998$).... He told me I was not allowed to duiscuss it with anyone... I asked him if this was a scam and he hanged up on me....

HiI just hanged a call from ph no. +290984727, before calling me they called my home and told my wife that they are calling from cic and there is an arrest warnt issued for her husband, they asked her when she came to canada and when i had came to canada, she gave them the info and my cell number too, i got a call (not knowing they got info from my wife) ... Guy sounded like an Asian, he said he is from CIC the Canadian Immigration Services of Canada and there is complain angist me from my homeland country embassy that i did not filled S I 94 Alian form, when I questioned him cic office location and number to call, he trasfared me to (as he said his senior), i asked his info, he said he is "Jean Parker", batch id 3682001, then He told me that I had not filled out I94 and this is their last call, and RCMP will arrest me with case no. 1853693. I asked him his location and reachable phone number and he hanged up on me....

Was a lady that first asked about if I wanted to buy toilet paper. then I told her she was calling a company and she said this isnt ronald?? I said no ma'am you are calling a company. She wanted me to stay on the phone with her since she was lonely- advised hanging up- 37 seconds on the phone- hope she didnt get any information!!!

I received a call from a guy who introduced him as Chris Brown. He said " I am from Canadian Immigration office" and there is a complain against you. Then I asked again about his name who said I am Chris Brown. He said did you receive any call from police so far, to which I respond No. There was some disturbing noises in the background which clearly an indication it was not from any office environment and I realized it is a scam. I asked again how do you spell your name, where is your office? He said this is the telephone number 888 242 2100 and you need to talk with my officer to discuss the nature of complain against you. I asked him the name of his officer. He said unfortunately I am not in the position to you his/her name nor to talk about the specifics and then hanged and left.

Received a call from #1-888-242-2100, this was the 5th time they were calling me, blasted the guy with some beautiful cuss words, he reacted by saying that "How dare you use this language with a Fed Agent", I cussed him some more and hung up.If you call back this number, it goes to CIC call center, but these guys have most probably hacked into the system so the call originating number shows the real CIC number.A SCAM!! STAY AWAY!!

Same story here too.they did not talk with my wife and told they want to talk to me directly. it looks like all information leaked when i filled for my mothers visitor visa and agent send all information to VFS center

Received call from same number this morning, one guy asked if I am Sam after verifying my name he transferred to his senior office and he told me that there is legal case against me in my country, I asked the which country and he mention my country name. I have been away from my old country almost 40 years. Then he said something which I could not understand and I asked him to repeat and he said to me can't you understand English, then he said*********and hung up on me

Saying they were from the Indian embassy concerning immigration

The guy claiming some charges related to Canadian citizenship.They seem to be fraud and need to be reported.
