I just got a call from this number as well. Guy said he was from Windows Support and that they have been receiving error messages that I have a bunch of viruses on my computer and they will show me which folders to go into to get rid of them. I'm not a computer expert, but I know enough to know this is bologna.So I asked if they are monitoring what I download and he stumbles with well yes, no (getting agitated said louder) WE'RE GETTING A LOT OF ERROR MESSAGES FROM YOUR COMPUTER.Him: "So if you're logged onto your computer I can help you" "But I'm not on my computer" "Can you please log onto your computer then OK" "I don't think there is anything wrong with my computer" "WE ARE GETTING ERROR MESSAGES, YOU HAVE VIRUSES" Wow this guy gets agitated fast. Me:"wait how did you get my phone number?" "We are form Windows service center.. mumble mumble.. registration...mumble. OK" "No it's not OK, I don't understand how you got my phone number" "agitated mumble possibly cursing", then click.For a scammer this guy is horrible. He gets agitated so fast and if you ask some basic questions he stumbles and evades the question. As if using the word "Windows" should make me trust him and the word "virus" to scare me. I'm not sure who he is targeting, people who know some stuff about the internet and viruses will call him on things and he'll get mad breaking any sort of allusion he's from customer support or he'll hang up. People who believe him initially may have a hard time following his instructions, which will again lead him to get agitated and possibly have ppl hang up on him and talk to their own computer guy (as most ppl have one).

I forgot to mention that when he first called he asked if I was the owner of the computer and when i said yes, he was like: "good because according to Windows... mumble mumble.. we can only talk tot he owner". He didn't ask me name or any verification, so obviously security and adhering to Windows protocol isn't very stringent.

got a call from 272-1275, no body on the other end. I've been on the no-call list since the beginning, it doesn't seem to be working.

I got a call from this [***], I a told him ( hindu) that I report it to the police it is a scammer

Got a call from 204 272 1275 at 4 pm Winnipeg, Manitoba time. The name "Ceylon" appeared on call display. Sounded like an automated call but with a lot of static. I answered but the caller hung up after a few seconds. I dialed the number and the reply was that the number has been disconnected, the next time the message would be, "lines are busy, please try your call later".

Got this call 8/8 6:32PM from Mr Bollywood asking me to go to the computer I strung him around for a wile this guy is a wast of oxogin he knew my name/ told me he was from Micro Soft (ya right) and I got some ocen front property to sell in the Sahara!

I am also getting calls from this number for last a month. I don't know who is there. Nobody speaking and when I try to make back call got a response that phone is disconnected or not in use. Kindly anybody help me to resolve this problem. Where I should complaint for it.

204-272-1275. 204 is Area Code in Manitoba, caller ID showed "ceylon", but call is from a telemarketer in Augusta, Georgia.

i think that this is a call centre number considering all the types of calls people are getting. Once upon a time I used to work in a call centre & we would switch every so many hours to calling/selling a different group of products & we'd have to switch our client/customer call list.in my case..yep..collection agency :S

received a call from 204-272-1275 name on display was ,Ceylon. Don't usually pick up calls when I don't know the caller. There was a dead carrier, nobody on line. Called back and voice said that the number was disconnected.. Another scam call. I am totally peeved that the the CRTC doesn't do anything about calls like this with local area codes.
