just received a call from this number. i did not answer as I did not recognize the phone number. how could someone from the HSC get my number

I ignored the call and looked it up and found this page. It was such a mistake to put my # on the Do NOT Call List. I had never received nuisance calls on my cell until I did. I tried calling the number back also and received the same message saying the number does not accept incoming calls. How irritating.Good thing I didn't answer, I would be more annoyed if I had to pay on my cell phone bill due to these harassing calls.

Today recieved call from this number,Got no response when answered.Found out here, that is from HSC.Something needs to be done re this number.COULD be VERY IMPORTANT as have recently been a patient there.Number does NOT register properly on my phone,so I tend to ignore it.

I ended up on here because i got the same call on my cell this morning and they hung up

wife has been getting calls 5 or 6 in the last couple of days last one was kinda of wierd. some guy named Patrick talking about ufo's and nazi's and heavy metal. has anyone tried calling the HSC ? I will be tomorrow.

This 775-0055 is what shows on call display only but it is actually for HSC and is not meant for you to call back. NOTE if you are awaiting an MRI, CT, or other such tests and have an appointment scheduled or to be scheduled its likely HSC is calling to see if you can come in sooner than expected. So get your letter that you were sent to advise of your appointment date and call the number on that paper and tell them you received a call is it about your test appointment.

Like what was said numerous times here is that it is a ward phone from HSC. It's important for you all to know that this # is not a "Nursing Station" or phone line from a Doctor, but a "patient phone". The reason they do this is because ALL HSC phone numbers begin with the prefix 787. They made the number different so that patients have some privacy, essentially so that people don't google search 787-#### and discover the patient called from HSC psych ward. If someone other than a patient calls (i.e. a doctor calls, or your are being scheduled for an MRI, a nursing station) the number will show up as "private number" as these are all blocked. I've been getting these calls for the past two days now, and as I am a former HSC employee, recognized it right away. Same deal, no one said a word.

I received the same thing and ignored the call. It turns out that we missed a very important anpointment because the nurse does not leave a message either. This is a real joke good job hsc.
