I work at HSC. Outgoing phone calls from all hospitals used to come up PRIVATE due to confidentiality. That is also why when you call this # back it is not identified who called. Some phone services do not accept any calls from private #'s therefore a lot of people could not be reached. All hospitals now have 'dumby' #'s that come up so that important phone calls are not missed. If people weren't so obsessed with screening calls we wouldn't have this issue (or website). Remember the good old days when your phone rang and....wait for it...YOU ANSWERED IT???

We keep getting a call at our place of business from the following phone number, 204-775-0055. The calls don't seem to be stopping and are very disruptive.

calls from any Health Science Centre internal phones will show on call display as this number. you cannot return calls to this number since it is not an actual line, but rather just the number assigned to the network of phone lines. you'll have to call whatever number you have for whoever might be calling or whatever number they leave on your answering machine.

I don't know if this number used to be only patient phones, but it is now seemingly all internal phones - i've had it from doctors, nurses stations, appointment reminders, etc., etc. - no i'm not sick all the time, i just have a lot of interaction with people at HSC. lol

My wife is a Nurse and that is the number that comes up when she calls me but i can't call it back. It's also the number that shows up when they are tryig to call her in for overtime. Hope that helps
