This number has been calling and no one is there. If it is a company they should be charged.

I called the number back and it was the Canadian Diabetes Association. They call all the time but this one is local. I usually get the auto dial one but this one is the real person that calls (I think)

I answered this # twice - no one talks. 1 timed waited 7 seconds & still no one.

I just got the same call but I do not answer numbers I do not know. This call came at 9pm what is the CDA call for at this time.. Has someone Hijacked there phone number? If not how really INCONSIDERATE

I called the Winnipeg office of the Canadian Diabetes Association. They are aware of the situation and are trying to correct it. It is apparently a problem with their auto-dialling system. The number is associated with their clothesline program.

Two weeks after Sonny's post, and they haven't corrected it yet. Silence, and then it HANGS UP on me. This [***] should be outlawed globally. The CRTC does nothing, because they make a buttload of money regulating this kind of crap; the no-call list is full of exceptions, and not enforceable across borders; the 'legal calling hours' are BS to those of us who work nights; and I'm just plain sick and tired of being disturbed by parasites who want something from me. it's MY phone: I pay for the damn thing, and the telco shouldn't be selling my # for profit, or charging extra for unlisting it. They call at various times, day and night but no one answers when you say hello.I think it is Canadian Diabetis yet don't understand why the calls come on a daily basis - sometimes 2 or 3 times. I have called back but the line is busy. It makes me very nervous to be "monitored".The line seems dead but if you wait long enough, a dial tone finally kicks in.I read on this site that other people are having the same experiences.Like them, I want those irritating calls to stop immediately!
