This is a genuine call from the Canada Revenue Agency. It is the Slip Matching Department in Winnipeg, MB. If you get a call from this number, it is because the amounts that were filed on your tax return using a T4 you were issued does not match what they have on file from your employer. If you do not provide them with a copy of the T4 you were issued, you will be reassessed and probably owe the CRA money. It is very important to answer this call and send them the requested information.
