Calls frequently-says NEW SOUTH.

I got this call this morning and it was a recording saying that I am elligle for a loan. Sounds like a scam to me. Press 9 if you want to be removed. Lets see if that works. Tired of these people calling all day. Do not call does not work.

I keep getting recorded messages from this number saying something like "Congratuations! You have been pre-approved for a loan of up to 1500 dollars." Then I'm told to go to a website and enter a promo code to apply for a loan. This is certainly not a survey company and I never applied for any kind of loan, especially over the internet or by phone.

I received a call from this number yesterday at 8:52 pm, the caller ID listed it as NEW SOUTH, I did not answer the phone. I am also listed on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but it's not working.

I, and some of my friends, are registered with New South Research to participate in product testing and discussion forums. It IS legit and you do get paid for your time and opinion. No one has broken into my house while I was in their conference room. They call you after work hours to see if you wish to participate because that's what time they would expect you to be home from work. They only call people who have registered with them to be contacted.IF you are being called by scammers or robo-callers offering you a free vacation or gift card or loan or some other B.S. then this phone number is most likely being 'spoofed' by crooks who don't want their real phone number showing up on your caller i.d. Happens all the time. A friend of mine called me once using MY CELL # just to show me how easy it is to do. Or some idiot transposed their own phone number when registering as a participant. Dyslexia happens.

Called saying she was from regions bank. Asked enough questions that we knew she was not. Wanted to sign us up for a focus group but clearly identified herself as working for Regions. I suggest NOT taking any survey for these people and I believe this is a scam of some sort. If nothing else they are on an information gathering hunt. Called our cell phone and showed up Birmingham Al.

Actually he not lying. They are based in Birmingham and their office is located in the Galleria. I signed up with them for a survey a few years ago and was paid $75. I've since moved out of Alabama but I still get calls asking if I want to participate. I keep telling them that I no longer live there, but they keep calling. While they might not have the best record keeping, they definitely aren't a scam. And no, I don't work for them.

just had a call from them, they didnt leave a message - so i checked them out on the internet and now they are on my blocked phone numbers list. Instead of complaining and calling these punks back I just put them in that list and never hear from them again :)

so mike your one of theses sob if there so legit why do they hid there real names and phone numbers. i know why you know your making people miserable with harassing calls your .no different then a stalker
