CallerId says Research Center. I will not answer these calls. Yesterday they called from a different area code and several days before that. I am sick of these calls!

This is a political survey group. They called me a few times around Easter, and when I called back, got a message about taking their political survey. I wasn't interested, so didn't bother. The calls stopped around the last round of elections. They started up again in the last few weeks. I picked up a call last Wednesday, told them I wasn't interested in their survey and for them not to call again. Today, a Saturday when I was hosting out of town friends, they called me no less than 5 times! These people tend to call in the evenings and on weekends, when they are definitely not welcome. Also, they don't understand the meaning of "not interested". I've filed a complaint with donotcall.gov, and if I pick up their call again, will tell them that.

Why are these type of calls allowed by our lawmakers? Guess they found a loophole in the State of Washington to allow these calls!

Because the survey industry convinced lawmakers to exempt them from the DoNotCall Registry.

Caller hung up before we could answer. Based on other responses it could be a "push-poll" where the questions are leading and biased, e.g., "How many times do you think candidate xxxyyy beat his wife last month?" But who knows - even if it is a legitimate survey, why are they allowed to bother us? See "survey industry convinced lawmakers" response elsewhere.

This guy calls and I answer (Business line).He says "I have the wrong number, thank you for your time."Thank you for your time???I knew there had to be more to it than a wrong number. Thank goodness for 800 notes!

I keep on getting a call from this number 206-445-6611 on my cell phone between the hours of 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm. On the screen to my phone says the call is from Washington State. I don't normal answer my phone after 7:00 pm. Around 11:10 pm I plugged the number on the Google search and got your link about this number. I read most of these post. The calls stared coming to me about a week ago. So out of curiosity I called the number around 11:15 pm tonight (14 Aug 2012). When connected I received a recording and that I connected to a Market Research Center out of San Diego, California and that they were a part or a member of the Better Business Bureau. My phone is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry and have meet the requirements for to make a complaint. So what options are available at this time. Any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
