Asked for a woman that doesn't live here. When told they had the wrong number, the guy said he was calling for the Philadelphia Firefighters and asked if I had a minute. When I asked why their number came up as Seattle Washington, he started getting all frazzled.

Called cell phone @11:14. I did not answer and they didn't leave message. Not family, friends or law enforcement. Hope they get an honest job soon.

It was a pre-recorded call from the IRS! Saying they would proceed legally against me if I did not call them back at a different number than the call originated from. They give you the number to call. I have researched calls like these before - many originate in Seattle, Washington. There is a small phone company out there which re-routes calls to foreign countries. They use the Seattle area code to disguise where the call originates from - you think you are calling a US Corporation but the call gets re-routed to a foreign country - probably one which is not friendly to American Law Enforcement.

Called but never left a message on voice mail.

A foreign sounding woman stated I had been randomly selected by the government to receive a grant. She stated that the government setup a procedure for me to call a new number with a confirmation number. Do NOT do this, your phone company will charge you for calling the number.

Female stated she was from some energy corporation when questioned further she hung up I tried to call back and it said all circuits are busy

I am familiar with this number, they try calling my office all the time. When I am busy (which is almost always), I either ignore the call or I answer, wait for the long pause for them to FINALLY say something, and then I hang up.THIS TIME: First call from this number, then called from a New York number (917-310-3437). After getting no response the first 2 times, the same individual called for a third time BUT HAD BLOCKED THE NUMBER! When I answered the phone the gentleman said, "Are you f***ing kidding me?"I said, "WHAT?? You are calling a busy business, sir! I don't want to hear that nonsense!!" And hung up.He called AGAIN from the New York number. Just wow!

Called today; no message, I'm on the no call registry.
