when I see a number that I don't know I pick up the receiver hold for a minuet then hang up.............
Called this morning at 9:30 claiming to be from United Home Services and are having a duct cleaning special and heating unit check. The person was Indian and asked how many heating units I had.
Got a call from this number on my work phone in NC today. No message left. As with other telespammers, I saved the number into my contacts as "Spam" so I'll know not to answer it in the future.
HJELBERTSON, Renew your number on the Do Not Call List. That's not where they're getting your phone number from. Phone numbers are either 1) randomly computer-generated (i.e., all phone numbers w/this area code & it spits out all possibilities and/or 2) from bought lists from companies you have already given your phone number to. Most times, the phone list is random computer-generated.And, those that call are scammers. Simply put the number on your Blocked List. Also, Microsoft will never call you about detecting an error on your computer. It is a scam, not from Microsoft, but from hackers who want to install malware or keyloggers into your system. They have you type in certain commands into your computer to give them full access to it. Eventually, they ask you for money and that's when you'll enter your credit card number, verification number, etc. and they'll see everything you enter and either charge up a storm on your CC and/or have it for identity theft reasons. It's not Microsoft's fault that people pretend it's them. It's a scam. It's been around for YEARS. There's an FBI IT Security consultant who put out a YouTube video on this - it's 2 hours long but worth listening & watching to see how they gain access to your computer. He uses clean computer, of course, and has the person call back at a certain time so he's all set up to record his screen as they run their scam.
This number has been calling my cell phone for two days. They 3-4 times a day and when I try to call back its a busy signal.
Called me today and I picked up . A man with an American accent picked up he started making odd noises and used profanity. If he calls again I will call the police on him!
Received a call from 206-777-1088. Caller ID said from Seattle WA. Foreign person said from diabetic services. I asked why they called me but line went dead. Only reason I answered was because I used the only phone I have that doesn't show incoming numbers since I wasn't in a room were my other phone was. I'm not diabetic either lol.
criminals / scammers that do not have the courage to leave a message because it would tell law enforcement how to find them.a real business / person would leave a message so they could get a call back.(206) 777-1088Owner's name hidden for privacy reasonsOwner is based in Seattle, WALandline - MCI Metro ATS!(206) 777-1088 is suspected spamSpam Level 4/4Spam reports last 90 days 5027 reports - general spam9 reports - null7 reports - scam or fraud
