This is the Amazon driver. I was expecting a delivery. He could not access our entrance gate so he called my phone.
My favorite folks! Amazon
Not used to seeing this kind of unnecessary exchange in 800notes. To me this is simple:Did you get a call from this number? If yes, who was it (or who did CallerID say it was)? If says Amazon, then one of two possibilities:1. It actually is Amazon; or2. It's somebody spoofing AmazonExpecting a package? Then a good chance it's legitimately #1. Not expecting a package? Then quite possibly #2. With that in mind, you have to then decide whether to block it or not.As for my experience, i received a call from this number at approx 10:30pm, and am not expecting a package. So the way my mind works, i chalk this up to a scam/spoofed number, and get on with life. I do quite a bit of business with Amazon, though, so I'll not block the number. Comes a time I'm expecting a package and get a call during business hours from this number, I'll likely answer it. But that's just me. Everyone makes his or her own decisions as intelligent, mature adults. And about that last sentence: What say we all demonstrate we fit the description, and play nice?
It was Amazon Prime trying deliver my package. We live in a gated community and they could not get in without the gate code.
Today this number rang 5 times within 3 minutes. I didnt answer. Two minutesafter the final call my wife heard a knock on the door and it was an expected Amazon Prime Delivery. The driver had been calling trying to ask for directions, He obviously figured it out. They must have a Amazon Smartphone App so their delivery calls shows with this Caller ID 206-922-0193 rather than their personal cell phone number.
Seriously, I just got a call today. It was Amazon, just letting me know that the package was being dropped off. They didn't need anything but if I had not picked up, they would have not delivered the package. If you're afraid of getting spoofed numbers, why even own a phone? Why not block every number in existence?

Yes it did
I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
Quit smoking quit line. Not spam. I used the Quit line to quit smoking. This is a follow up call.
