I spoke in chat with Amazon customer service earlier regarding an item. The issue was taken care of. I then received a call from this number hours later saying I "they were from Amazon and that I hadn't received the item" and to please call back. I also received an email saying the same thing despite the situation already being handled. I plan to contact Amazon regarding this because I never authorized a call and don't believe that if this is legitimate it's a good way to run a business. If it's not I will confirm here.

I got a Call from what is supposed to be Amazon but I have not ordered anything off Amazon in 2016?

Was expecting a package via Amazon's delivery service. Ignored the call (thinking it was a sales call), received another call from a 1-877 number claiming to be Amazon needing additional info about the delivery. Thought it was weird, as I have never had an issue with any deliveries from any carriers. Went to look outside and saw a car driving around. As I was stepping outside, I received yet another call. Decided to answer it and it was the delivery person confused as to which driveway was mine.

Got two calls from this number less than a minute apart (7:04 pm & 7:05 pm). Since it was not a number in my contact list, I ignored the calls. They did not leave a message.I looked up the number and discovered that it was the number for Amazon customer service and since I had placed an order from them a day or so ago, I called the number back and told them I had received two calls from their number. The customer service rep looked into my order, said there was no problem on the order or any information they needed, so the conclusion I've made is that while the number is a legitimate number belonging to Amazon customer service, the two calls I received were from a telemarketer spoofing the call in hopes that I would pick up.

This is definitely a call back from Amazon. I requested customer service to call me, and this number appeared when they called. It is legit!

Yes, this number is Amazon. It is LEGIT.

I just received 3 calls from this number in less than 10 minutes. The called ID said it was Amazon Customee Service. They wanted to know my name and why did I contact them? Well, if I had contacted them they would already know my name wouldn't they since they called me. I did not contact Amazon.com. This is a bogus contact and you should be careful what information you give our over the phone. These people are trying to scam you.

Someone used my cell phone to call 206 922 0880! I saw the number appear on my call logs showing I called that number yesterday afternoon, but I didn't call that number!!!I called it this morning to hear who was at the other end, but all I got was a busy signal...
