Amazon Customer Service 206-922-0880 read the caller ID, at 10pm while I was at bed. Did not dare to pick it up as I know they spoofed the caller ID. No business ever ever calls my home this late and I did not do any business w/Amazon or called them!
Okay, this is definitely Amazon. I had to cancel a Prime Now order, and I selected the option to have Amazon call me. This is the number that dialed my phone a few minutes later. I suppose it's possible that a scammer is also spoofing this number, but at least in my case, this was DEFINITELY AMAZON.
This was a callback from Amazon when I requested it because of a suspicious email. It's not a spam number for me.
It wsa a call saying from Amazon. I did not initiate a call return and am worried some knind of scam is afoot. Why would they call me... I haven't ordered from them i quite a while. Hummm... Amazon is a scammer now??? Ha!
Excellent points. I to got the call and had not initial contact with Amazon... ergo, either a disturbing goof by Amazon or a scam caller ( probably to profit by scammage in some way). And... I also wondered Why someone would be on this 800notes site saying this is a legit call in the first place. You come here because you feel something is amiss or some concern about a mysterious call or you realize is was a scammer...hahaha. Great points....Thanks.
This was a legitimate call back from Amazon. I asked a question about 10 hours previously by phone and this was a second call back by same representative with additional information which I was glad to have. Not recognizing the number I didn't answer so they e-mailed me with solution. Good job.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
