Just received call on cell. No message. I did not answer, not recognizing the number. I called Amazon on this cust service number 1.888.280.4331. Can google it. The tech said 206.922.0880 IS NOT an Amazon cust. support number.
This IS Amazon Customer Service calling me back after I requested a contact. They can be in the Philliines, So America, India, etc but all are employed by Amazon and can help solve issues. Just FYI, at any time, you can request a CS rep from the US & they will automatically transfer you. No problem.
This is the number listed on Amazon website for customer service. I just called it today. Got an automated answering service and cancelled Prime Time that was automatically charged to my account after a free trial which I wasn't aware of.
It is Amazon. I called about a shipping issue with a Prime membership and was disconnected. The name and voice were the same as the lady I talked to earlier in the evening. (Although why they called at 2am, I don't know...)
I just spoke to customer service at Amazon (had them call me from the website). The assistant confirmed that this IS NOT an Amazon number. She recommended that I block the number. She also gave me the number of the local Amazon shipper that would have contacted me had it been legitimate and confirmed that Amazon was NOT having any trouble with any of my orders.
FROM AMAZON - DO NOT ANSWER OR RESPOND - This is a fraudulent 'fishing' call. I just spoke with Amazon directly and they were adamant that this call did not come from them at all. They were surprised that anyone would report this number as trustworthy - my guess it those who reported this as trustworthy are part of the scam.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
