Caller ID gave just the number. No other information. They did not leave a message. Obviously up to no good.

Just got a call from 207-213-1809 ...........I see from other posts to this blog that Card Services is still at it.....Credit Card Scammer. 207-213-1809 is one of more than 45 different numbers that these credit card scammers use. Their numbers and caller IDs can vary from day to day. Most often they call themselves Card Services and promise a lower interest rate for your credit card. But they are just scammers trying to get your credit card number so they can rip you off. They've been calling my home number daily for over 11 years. Back when they first started calling I would answer the phone and tell them that I was not interested and to please remove my number from their call list. That was about eleven years ago and they still call five days a week. I have not answered any of their calls since 2006 ....and yet they continue to call. I estimate that they have called my number over 2600 times in the last eleven years ... "without an answer". And still they call almost daily. Looks like for efficiency purposes they would delete numbers from their call lists after they have called them several thousand times without an answer. The calls are originating in India, so there isn't anything the US Government can do to stop them. They "must" be finding people who fall for the scam, or they would not still be in business after all these years. Let your family and friends know about these idiots so they won't fall for the scam.

That's a sound practice "bill". It's a pretty easy part-time job that never ends and never pays anything, but makes you feel better, right? I'm mildly amused at all the people that can not believe "they" call their unlisted number. The NERVE of those telemarketer/scammers! What I find interesting is that most of them hang up before leaving their lies on my answering machine. And yet, there are some of you that they do leave messages. Must be a regional thing. I now block from most area codes that are not associated with relatives. Works pretty good. My current most active is AC 619 San Diego CA TRYING to call me.

You cannot block them forever, they will simply change their caller ID. These criminals are with Chase Bank, and whitepages.com is involved by hiding their caller ID
