On August 21,2007, I paid my grandsons fines that he had. They were paid by Credit card. This was all his fines to date. I have the reciepts. This week he went in to Melbourne, Fla police or clerk of courts and they charged him again I would like to know what happened to the money I paid. Received 2 calls for my brother-in-law, who ironically just started staying at my house this weekend for the maximum of 1 week. How in the world they got my number is beyond me!I passed the message on to my brother-in-law, and then called them myself notifying them that he is merely a guest and that he is authorized telephone calls, however, I would appreciate an end to any collections calls. He has called and discussed the matter with them. The person I spoke with was rather pleasant and accomodating. I made sure to call them from my work phone, which is a recorded line, and have pulled a copy of the recording so that if the calls continue I can use it against them.

I also received such a phone call on my cell. I know I have no standing financial obligations but still it takes you by surprise. They should be reported but to who?

I have no debt and they keep calling!

This debt collector keeps calling by machine. We have no debt and I plan to find out how I can legally have this caller removed from business.
