Is this number a scam? I got the message like my SSN has some federal investigation, call back else you will be arrested and all.
This phone number is sending text messages that stating that legal action is being taken against me for a fraudulent SSN. I call them back and they were requesting my name and Social Security number to verify that I am that person. LOL I told them that my name was Putit Inyabutt. And I gave them their own telephone number as my Social Security number, Minus a digit. And then after they realize that I was messing with them they hung up on me. I continue to call them at least 12 more times throughout the day. And the one guy asked me why I keep calling back, and my response was....I want to waste as much of your time as I possibly can so that you are not scamming other innocent people. I love having fun with these kind of jerks.
A man with a thick Filipino accent stated (in a recording) that the message is urgent and should not be ignored. Obviously a SCAM as no personal information left like the name of the person he is calling for

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
