Got a call on my cell but I ignored it because the area code is unfamiliar to me. I blocked it right away..
Got a Call from them this morning, Answered nothing, then on my cell I added them to the reject list, If you dont have this lovely feature on your phone theres an App called blacklist that will stop any number thats not in your contacts , along with private numbers and blocked numbers I know for android, not sure for apple.
Called me today saying they were from Credit Card Services and stated they could reduce my credit card interest rate. I then asked them what credit card they were refering to and they hung up. I tried returning their call and a recorded message stated this number was disconneted then all I heard was a loud pitch screaching sound.
Just received this call. I have been waiting for a phone call from out of state but KNEW they would leave a message if i didn't answer it. So I looked up the number (because if it was the call I was waiting for the name and number should have been easy to search) and I was brought to this page. This is the first time I have gotten a call from this number but I have also received unknown phone calls from 202 and 206 area code numbers as well. I have not answered any of these calls mostly because I am busy but I am half tempted to answer next time to waste their time like they waste and SCAM so many others.
I got a call...I said HELLO several times.. no answer..so I called back...I got a twittering sound like a fax number...a garbled voice said...I'm sorry this number is no longer in service...etc...confusing!
I have android and if you have that you can download on google play "comodo'' to your phone. It is a security and anti virus that will allow you to block any number. lLook them up on web you will see the company for your own self and it's free and works great. Have used comodo on my computers, business and phones for years.
yes I had the same call I answered it but when I heard the word credit card and I hung up this is a scam
