They called me about reducing my interest on my credit card. I knew it was bogus because I don't even have a credit card.

I started getting odd calls when I got a new phone and a new phone number from a $2.00 a month phone you can get if you are on food stamps. They are really STUPID trying to scam poor folks on food stamps! We don't have anything to scam!

Exact same thing happened to me. Blocking them now.

Received this call today, googled it, got this thread. Did not answer and they did not leave voicemail. Interestingly enough, I posted something on Craigslist a few days ago - but I never put my cell number on CL. I'd like to know how they got it.

If you use Android (I have an AT&T HTC One), just go to "Call History," then press the "Menu" option, then press "Blocked contact," then press "Add" to add the number.

They call me, but I never answer numbers with different area code. Because most of them are spams or asking for people I don't know.
