I read all the comments here and it saddens me how people dont understand how The Arc inc. gets your number and how some of you dont understand how the The Arcs "Call Center" Works. If you dont want The Arc to call you simple state "Please remove my number from you calling list." or "Stop Calling me." I can understand that its annoying to get 12 calls a day from the same number. The way a lot of dialing programs work is if no one answers or if the call is dropped then the number does not leave the list for the day they are calling for. As for how the Arc gets your number is a little different there are many places that sell your information. Main type i can think of is places that offer reward cards. (Freds Albertsons etc.) As for when you change your number well think about that one for a sec the phone company reuses numbers all the time more often then not you have got a number that has 3-4 people that had it before you so dont blame the Arc when you change your number.

Stop expecting scammers to give a crap. All you've done is let them know they have a live number. Look into getting a call blocker

yeah, that's why a non-profit doesn't NEED a call center. (sarcasm) because resources like money for their programs fall off the resources tree.

I do NOT appreciate unsolicited calls on my cellphone! Ugh! Gonna have to figure out how to BLOCK them!

Lastly here again. ..I've had several more calls from these folks in the last few days! Annoying, for sure! I haven't found a way to block their number on my phone, so maybe I'll pick up next time and ask them to remove my number from their call list.

just don't answer that's what I did. they just called me a few minutes ago. So I googled the number and was surprised that they didn't leave a message. But, was glad I didn't answer. Plus, try to block the number. Can't? Silence your phone or make it vibrate

I agree, They are annoying call for no reason with no operator and call for what nothing. SEEMS STUPID AND ANNOYING AT THE SAME TIME!

with all the time you guys have to write up these complaints - you could have answered the phone said no thank you and be done with it. Instead you just spend an hour complaining. Nice!

By law, if you ask them not to call, they are supposed to. I have both my home phone and my cell phone numbers on the national Do Not Call Registry (it's free, but a little time consuming-but well worth signing up for). If they don't stop calling, you can register their number on the national Do No Call registry. Hope this helps.
