I am in Canada, got a call from this #, when calling back, it says the # is not in service.
From Canada, area code 519 in Kitchener, ON (Provider is Rogers). Getting the same number calling me like everyone describes. I don't answer it and thankfully it doesn't leave a VM. It just appears as a missed call.I'm filing a complaint to the CRTC with a link to this site, so hopefully there is something that can be done about this.
i also live in cacada and got a call from this number, they have now called 2 days straight. i looked up the number and it brought me here.

Lol...yeah...glad I missed this call then... from Thornhill, north of Toronto. They're taking over the area!! Ahh...the past few years my phone has seen way too much of this crap. Even on the call display on my tv I'm going "wtf" atleast once to weird random numbers that call the house.

i answered this to the sound of a ship horn and a message saing "hello, this is your captian speaking on your trip to...." i hung upi new this was going to be something like this...yet i still answered it like a goof.we all must have entered our phone number in something and they sold them to this company. nothing you can do. DONT CALL THE POLICE....your wasting yours and their time. dont answer it and it will go awaygood luck

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
