Just got called by this number. It's obviously not local and not Canadian, so I ignored it on my cell.I got this number when I moved a month ago and have had no spam callers yet. Yesterday, I moved my account from Telus to Bell Mobility and today I get a spam caller. Coincidence? I think not.Blaming Bell Mobility for this one.

This is a scam operation. I answered and the guy (with an Indian accent) told me my computer had sent out a report about a problem. He wanted me to log on to a site he would give me and to allow them to access the computer remotely..LOL.... Like I would ever do that and give them access to everything I had..

I had a missed call from 210-280-8487. I returned the call and someone told me I was eligible for a free $7,000 grant from the government. Sounded real fake, so I mentioned I just saw the news this morning and the government is broke and, therefore, how can they be giving me $7,000 when they have no money?The con man on the other end, who spoke broken English said - OK then you don't want the $7,000 and hung up. It must be a scam that is going around from the looks of the other blogs here.

Called numerous times only a message. Tried calling back and it says the number is no longer in service.

Indian accent, saying it is the Windows Technical Department. Yeah, right. I thought that these calls had stopped as everyone was wise to them. Why do they waste everybody's time?

They have called several times while I was at work.This time, however, I was home on vacation and answered.He asked for me and I asked who it was. He said "av" and asked if I were ____ (me basically). I didn't confirm who I was and just asked who he was and he repeated "av". So when he asked if I were _____ I told him that I didn't know anyone named "av" and hung up. An hour later this number called again but when I answered this time, no one replied. I told them to stop harassing my phone number or I would be contacting the police.

I got a call at 9:07 A.M. this Saturday morning. I guess they call early on a Sat. morning waking people up thinking they will get people still in bed asleep. I was awake so I let voicemail take the call and they still hung up. Any legitimate company doing legal business would put their correct phone number and company name on your caller I.D.

Like everyone else I get a phone call from this number about 3 times a day, rediculous and annoying. Thank you all for all your information, very helpful. I have never picked up this # but it is good to know what they might be offering me and defintately not interested in giving out my CC #.

Call from this number said they were with Windows and we had somehing wrong with our computer. Hung up on him.
