Call is from a new inmate at Bexar County Jail In San Antonio, Texas.My Ex-Husband just got locked up yesterday and called. They receive two free calls when they are booked and assigned to a pod.
Got two calls from this number and also 210-501-2627 saying it was from (name given was not clear) at Bexar County Detention. I didn't answer because it could not be anyone I know. I am concern because our truck was stolen three weeks ago and was recover two days ago. I am pressing charges for the thief and concern it could be the persons who stole my truck and are in jail. They are known drug dealers.
This is an inmate calling, I have gotten 1 voicemail from her trying to get me to bail her out. (Not going to happen!)
It suck I hate it I just don't understand what why telemarketers have to call it and our cell phones

When you answer the phone they hang up. They are trying to see if the number is actually associated with a person or not. Most likely they will clone the number.
