This was legitimately a call from a USAA rep, calling about an accident claim (Note: I'm not a USAA customer, so I didn't expect the call or recognize the number. They called me as the driver who collided with me is a USAA customer.)The message they left asked me to call them back at this number. When I did, a USAA system answered me.Further, my own insurance company corroborated the fact that USAA was contacting me on the matter, and provided me with this same phone number.
Geez JSchewndler, didn't you read? Chris said he got a call from USAAs main number....he EVEN said he RECOGNIZED it and answered. Maybe life is simple for you because you are obviously just glazing through it. Smoke another bowl.
Hey Miss Know it ALL, tell us AGAIN that "It is NOT a legitimate USAA number....." and then eat crow. Google USAA phone number, and the third and fourth ad down both clearly state this as one of their numbers..... You should probably know the FACTS before you go mouthing off like that.
In my case, this number is a legitimate USAA number. They even left a message concerning a claim I had with them. Just because you call an 800 number to reach them doesn't mean they don't have normal phone numbers for caller ID when they're making outbound calls.
This is legitimate USAA number. There are many different extensions, but my adjuster called me from this line, to see if I had gotten estimates yet for my auto vandalism claim.
Just got a call from this number and I see all the responses above, but I'm curious why they didn't leave a voicemail. I expect that kind of thing from a telemarketer, but not USAA. I looked up the number (210-531-8722) directly before coming here and it IS listed as USAA, but according to what I read, it CAN be spoofed, so I don't know who it was from.
They called me on my cell. Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. A few seconds later, they called on my land line and caller ID showed USAA so I answered. It was just like Harold's call - they wanted to confirm that I was still happy with a selection I had made online with my retirement account(s).
They called me on my cell. Didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number and they did not leave a voicemail. A few seconds later, they called on my land line and caller ID showed USAA so I answered. It was USAA Investment Management Co. - they wanted to confirm that I was still happy with a selection I had made online with my retirement account(s).
