I get calls almost every night from this number usually at 9:30 or later at night,very annoying !!!!!

I did the same thing that you did. Was polite and called the same number, to have my (unlisted) phone number removed. Breathed a sigh of relief and thought calls had stopped.But today, received a postcard from them (how in the world did they get my home address- was this 'random' , too - as they state their calls are) .Anyway, the postcard states --- "... We will try calling again". "Perhaps our timing will be better".These people will NOT STOP apparently. Unable to understand why they would concentrate and harass those who say, "Please don't call me" instead of just moving on quickly to someone who does want to 'participate'.Very uncomfortable to receive postcard from them, as if to say, "We have your home address, too".Some people are just very private - and that's that. This company seems bizarre in their approach, to say the least. Something seems fishy about it.

These calls come in randomly. i look up the number and its had many complaints. these people are scammers and should be stopped. They have called me on my home phone which does not have an answering service. these people need to stop harrassing people and me. they should be arrested but its so hard these days because scammers use throw away phones or numbers that really cant be traced. these people need to get a life. stop harrassing and bothering people. thats all i am going to say. i will not answer this number for any reason.

Well, I did finally answer the phone and take the survey. It was about local media including TV, radio, and newspapers. They had specific names and stations in my area in their survey. It took about 15 minutes. I refused to answer the questions about income and value of my home, and hung up. BUT today I received an envelope in the mail (did not give them my mailing address) and it contained a survey about shopping, a television diary, and a $5 bill!I kinda like the idea of having an influence on my local media, so I think I'll do it.

I have the ATT UVERSE digital phone package and I took advantage of ATT's call block function. You can Google the url for the ATT UVERSE website for it.Log into your account and fill out the information needed to block their number under the "block caller" feature.It might also be worth a try to see if your phone service offers a number blocking service, even if you don't have ATT UVERSE.Why all phones don't come with internal number blocking features, is beyond me, such a feature should be standard.Hope this helps someone.

Read the massive collection of internet complaints against Scarborough Research and all their attempts to stop the calls. Do not call or contact them to stop calling. They won't stop but it will give them more opportunity to collect information about you.Contact the BBB, FTC, local police, and Attorney Generals for Florida, New York and your state to file complaints or add your name to their list. Keeps records of all their calls to you. They do know the number they are calling and have quoted information obtained from previous calls. They can reverse look-up your number to get your name and address. I've read complaints of that so I wouldn't recommend supplying false information.If you want to annoy them in retaliation waste their time. The complaints you read will suggest ways of doing that.When the government shuts them down they will reopen under a new name. That's how criminals work. I try to keep them on hold for as long as possible. Act excited and interested and ask about getting paid but don't give information. They can't harass others while you are harassing them.

They called me Sunday 8pm, & left a message they are doing a survey, and tonight at 10pm!! No message, good thing but I still found all this here. 10 pm -- that is rediculous. Saw all the posts, now I know who they are. My phone allows me to block people, so even though it rings once--they are now blocked. No reputable company calls my home phone at 10pm.
