Caller wanted to know if we would be home at a certain time to accept delivery of some legal documents. Would not tell be what the documents were and I terminated the call.

212-147-7587 called and claimed they were "a courier only" and asked if I'd be home tomorrow at this time (8 p.m.!) " to deliver legal documents to me." When I asked "what address are you delivering them to?" Something a "courier" would know - she said she didn't have that information and I should call 888-799-1861 to have my questions answered. I asked " WHO are you delivering to?" again something a COURIER would know. "I don't know ma'am, again that is why I gave you that # to call, they will answer all your questions.....So, here I am looking a suspicious # up online. Like you did. Can you say "Don't call my house again and if you come by with "legal documents" I will call the police to have you arrested for harassment?" No, I don't intend to waste anymore of my time calling 888-799-1861.( Don't call that #, it is listed as a very shady debt collector.)

12 calls in 5 days, no message left on answering machine. Finally answered and found out that they weren't trying to reach me, but a relative. Same story -- "need to drop off legal documents". Told them not to call this number again, we will see if they follow directions.
