I received a call from this number on my cell phone. Luckily I missed the call and no message was left.

He did the same thing to me. I read this and looked at the tennis player. I confronted him, and he blocked me. Some people have too much time on their hands. I have two numbers from NYC he called me from. He said that you people were stalking him. Totally ridiculous.

I was meeting a friend for lunch and I got a missed call from this number. He works for Bloomberg (the wall street company.

This number does lead to Bloomberg, although the behavior of the man who called wasn't very professional; he sighed / humphed impatiently following my every response. He wanted to extend an invitation to the VP Marketing. I explained those must be sent via standard mail and offered the address. He demanded to speak with her, and I truthfully advised that she was in a meeting. Next, he asked for her assistant, who wasn't available, then requested her name for when he called back. When I said that we don't dispense such information, he decided to email the executive. I replied that was also against company policy, because it could end up in the spam folder. He simply said Thank You and hung up. What a pill.
