I actually answered and hit "1" to get lower interest rates. He tried very hard to get my credit card number, which if course I'm not stupid enough to give out. He kept trying to convince me that he was just verifying it, and that no one can do anything with just having a card number. I called BS and told him I wasn't stupid. Finally ended up hanging up on him after the 'argument'.
Received a call while at work. I look up all these #'s that I don't recognize. Thanks to all you folks, I know which #'s to block!! Thanks!! I do report when I can
Got the call from #212-465-9832 and started out as a robot call and said to press 2 to pass on the offer, so I pressed 2 and that was when someone with an Indian accent answered and said he was from the Card Member services of Visa and Mastercard and was going to lower my card interest. I asked which card and he reply Wells Fargo, Bank of america, and so I informed him I have none of those. I asked what company he worked for and he would only say Visa and Mastercard. Obviously he doesnt know that is a logo and the cards are issued by other companies. I said no thanks, it said it sounds like a scam and hung up.
Call all the time, makes me LOL because that number has no voice mail. Just use that phone for emergencies.
received a call from this number on July1, offering a lifetime interest rate decrease. Problem was they wanted my credit card #. I wouldn't read it to them. They countered with"since the # is on the face of the card it is public so it would be alright if I read it to them. I hung up . Called the number back. Message was the number had bee;n disconnected. Googled the # and found this site. The person who called had such a thick accent I could hardly understand him. Another clue to be careful.
Got the call that was automated at first the a Rep came on with an Indian accent saying was from VISA and MASTERCARD and was going to lower my interest. After not being able to tell me what company he really worked for I declined his offer and hung up. When trying to call back the number 212-465-9832, it is no longer in service.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call
