Answered and it was some lady that said my computer was downloading malicious files. I know that's not true as I don't have any reporting software and my computer is behind some heavy duty firewalls. So i told the lady, foreigner, that this was a scam and acted excited to get her call. She kept saying this isn't a scam and why was I calling it a scam. I told her because it is a scam because my computer isn't sending or downloading anything that her company would be able to detect. She got really frustrated and 'hurt' that I called it a scam that she hung up on me. LOL

A few days ago got a call saying "unknown caller". My phone is set up to tell people I do not answer unknown callers. One min later the phone rang again with the above number showing. I did not answer, They left no message.

This is a serious scam. I got a call from this number and talked to an actual person. They tried to say that my computer was "sending encryptions" and they needed me to login so they could fix it. As someone who works in software this was obviously absurd, but if they had called an elderly person it might have worked.When I questioned them, they hung up.

Gerry called (from India) and said he was from the technical department and needed to talk to me about my computer...Which one? Mac or PC? Asked him for his credit card information first which caused a pause during which I hung up and blocked his number. Really? Weak.

they called and said something about chrome. i asked him politely to remove me from call list. he asked "why?" i said, "because I am asking you to". he said, "I will not remove you." i told him it was the law and he has to- he said, "alright" after arguing that he wasn't bothering me, etc..

Wanted to try the call feature from Google using my laptop, so I called my work phone and this is the number that came up.

"Hello, this is Jacob from PC Solutions". I hung up and call blocked the number. I wish 800notes would add "spam call" to the call type list.

Caller ID said New York. When I answered, there was just a beep. Hung up. unfortunately, have to answer these calls.
