Just got one. no msg. don't have verison. nor do I shop at Lowe's

Today was the first time I've received a call from this number. Tried to call back and got busy signal. I'm on AT&T cellphone and am on the do not call list for the cellphones but that doesn't seem to stop them. In the past year I have gotten notices from bank, Dish and AmerenUE stating that my name, number and account info had been in reports sent via mail that had gotten lost or stolen. I'm wondering if someone in post office doesn't steal these things and sell them to scam artist. There has got to be a way to stop them from continually calling. My cell doesn't allow me to block calls but I do give the #'s a ringtone stating over and over not to pick up the call that way I don't have to bother looking to see who it is.

The same thing has happened to me, but its been an ongoing thing for month(s). About a few months ago I types in youtube or what I thought was (youtube) in my url and it brought me to a survey. Normally I don't do online surveys or give out my informtion, but I said what the hell its youtube there reputable and their were giving away free things(red flag). The survey said it would only take a few minutes so I did it, I gave my name, phone number (stupid) and it started asking about my education like online class. Afterthat, the survey redirected me to other websites, spam and there was no talk about the prize you were suppose win after completing the survey. So I backspaced back to the beginning of the site, and the website that I was on was not YOUTUBE.COM but YOUTBE.COM I miss spelled the site. The website has the same lettering like YOUTUBEand the same colors instead of the home page saying YOUTUBE its says THANKYOU(it tricks your eyes because its set up the same as YOUTUBE). Shortly afterthat, I started recieving off the hook phone calls from all over the country including this number. After about 1month 1/2 the call started dying down now I receive about 3 to 4 calls a month compared to the 20 to 25 a month. So what I'm getting at is maybe we all did something without realizing what we've done.

this person has called me 6 times in the past 4 days and i am always busy and i dont look at my phone much and haven't ever been able to pick up but it kinda creeps me out

someone at this number keeps calling me. I do not know who it is and I have sent text messages back asking who they want. They do not answer. Please block this number from future calls

Harrasment

has anyone of you got spyware recently from their computer? im not sure if this had anything to do with the 213 recently calling me. Im not sure how pc hackers do it. who knows the reason why they are calling us and everytime we would call back it would just not connect is because when we called them back, they would like to know if the cellphone number still works or active. So what does that mean? hhhmmm... That is my biggest question.....

The number called my phone last night when I wasn't home, i called it twice this morning and the phone hung up before saying anything

ok i had two calls from them today thursday 03/10/11 one at 2:06 and another at 4:35 i was in class so i didnt pick up but i called it back and i heard no ring tone then connected and hung up. jus as everyone else above me has said has happened to them. im also on the do not call list and if it lowes i doubt that they wouldnt have left a message. companies ALWAYS leave some kind of a message.

It's from some kind of thrid party education related telemarketer. I filled out one of those on-line forms to find a school that had a program I wanted to look into and have been getting calls ever since....... that was years ago!!! They sell your contact information over and over again, bouncing it around to different educational telemarketing agancies until you die.... then you call you while your dead and buried! I've gotton calls from California over and over again. They call you from different numbers after you tell them (assuming they actually answer their own call) to "take me off your calling list".... pisses me off to the nth degree!!!
