It is the Dallas Tax office. The number is attached to one of many departments, but the call I received from the number was to let me know my Automobile specialty plates had been made and were ready to be picked up.
My mom works for the courts of Dallas county and when she calls me this is the number that shows up on caller id. It is not a number that can be called back. I think it's the mask number for all of Dallas county departments in a certain building in downtown Dallas.
Received 2 calls from this number and answered the 2nd one. A woman said hello and hung up. Number now blocked.

I am an attorney in Dallas county, and this number used to belong to someone at the District Clerk's office. I've had several calls from here in the last week with no message left, and when I tried to call back, it rang several times and then the call just ended. The clerks leave messages. I wonder if the county dropped this number and now someone else is using it?
